The open interest of the contract stood at 1329 lots.<P align=justify>The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 13830.00, higher by 0.4% or Rs 55.00 from its previous closing of Rs 13775.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 1008 lots on NCDEX.<P><BR>

However, higher arrivals of the crop from major key producing areas of&nbsp;Nizamabad&nbsp; added pressure turmeric price.<P align=justify>The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 5734.00, higher by 0.63% or Rs 36.00 from its previous closing of Rs 5698.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 2980 lots.<P align=justify>The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 5740.00, higher by 0.49% or Rs 28.00 from its previous closing of Rs 5712.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 2400 lots on NCDEX.<P><BR>
