26-May-2020 SpiceJet resumes domestic passenger flight operations <DIV align=justify>SpiceJet has resumed its domestic passenger flight operations on May 25 after a two month-long lockdown-imposed hiatus. SpiceJet's first flight took-off from Ahmedabad to Delhi at 6.05 am and arrived in the Capital at 7.10 am. Soon after, flights on other sectors took-off in a seamless manner. 26-May-2020 RITES, HFCL and ITC to see some action today <p align="justify"><strong>RITES</strong> has signed shareholders' agreement for acquiring 24 percent stake in Indian Railway Stations Development Corporation (IRSDC) for Rs 48 crore with Rail Land Development Authority and IRCON International being the other equity partners. Further, the company has resumed operations at most of its offices and project sites after the coronavirus-induced lockdown restrictions were eased. The Miniratna public sector enterprise said that during this lockdown period, apart from concluding negotiations for a major export deal with CFM Mozambique enhanced to Rs 700 crore on account of increase in quantity, it has been able to successfully deliver the 188 RKM Vijaypur-Pachore Road-Maksi section railway electrification project in Madhya Pradesh.</p><p align="justify"><strong>Himachal Futuristic Communications</strong> (HFCL) has received the purchase order worth approximately Rs 174.43 crore from a Private Leading Integrator of data networks for supply of Optical Fibre Cables (OFC) for construction of Telangana Fiber Grid (T-Fiber) under Bharat Net Phase-II Programme of the Government of India, in the State of Telangana.</p><p align="justify"><strong>ITC</strong> has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) to acquire 100% of the equity share capital of Sunrise Foods, an Indian company primarily engaged in the business of spices under the trademark 'Sunrise', subject to fulfilment of various terms and conditions as specified in the SPA. The proposed acquisition is aligned with ITC's strategy to rapidly scale up its FMCG Businesses in a profitable manner, leveraging its institutional strengths viz. deep consumer insight, a deep and wide distribution network, agri-commodity sourcing expertise, cuisine knowledge, strong rural linkages and packaging know-how.</p><p align="justify"><strong>Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation</strong> (DFPCL) has forayed into hand sanitiser segment under the brand name 'Cororid'. The product based on Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) is available in different volumes from 500 millilitre, 1 litre, 5 litre, 10 litre, 20 litre, 25 litre, 200 litre to tanker load. 23-May-2020 SpiceJet opens booking for domestic flights <p align="justify">SpiceJet has opened booking for its domestic flights as it resumes operations with a little over 200 daily flights to 41 destinations after a hiatus of almost two months. Operations of commercial passenger flights were suspended from March 25 in the wake of COVID-19 and subsequent lockdown.</p><p align="justify">The government has allowed airlines to operate passenger flights from May 25, 2020. Spicejet said that to start with, the airline will operate flights to 41 domestic destinations operating an average 204 daily and 1,431 weekly flights with a slew of in-flight and on-ground modifications in line with the global best practices and government SOPs to minimise human contact and ensure safe travel for its passengers. </p><p align="justify">SpiceJet is among the first private companies that stepped into the Indian aviation sector. <br></p>

29-Apr-2020 Spicejet operates maiden freighter flight to Malaysia for medical supplies <P align=justify>Spicejet has operated maiden freighter flight to Kuala Lumpur carrying around eight tonnes of critical medical supplies. The flight departed from Hyderabad to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. With the addition of Kuala Lumpur to international cargo network, the airline is now operating regularly to over fifteen international destinations carrying essential and medical supplies.<P align=justify>The airline has till date transported over 4,650 tons of cargo on more than 635 flights since the nation-wide lockdown began. It has till date transported over 2,700 tons of cargo on more than 300 flights since the country-wide lockdown began on March 25. 11-Apr-2020 Spicejet operates first freighter service to Vietnam carrying medical supplies <P align=justify>Spicejet has operated its first freighter service to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam from Hyderabad, carrying around 16 tonnes of medical supplies amid the coronavirus pandemic. Besides, one of its freighters flew with critical medical equipment from Singapore to Bangaluru, while a passenger aircraft transported medical supplies as in-cabin cargo to Guwahati from Kolkata. <P align=justify>The airline had also performed a cargo flight to Singapore from Chennai and back with a dedicated Boeing 737 freighter, transporting critical medical equipment and devices to India.<P align=justify>SpiceJet is among the first private companies that stepped into the Indian aviation sector.<BR><P align=justify><P align=justify>&nbsp;
