13-Feb-2020 Hindalco Industries reports 24% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit <p align="justify">Hindalco Industries has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2019.<br></p><p align="justify">The company has reported a fall of 21.86% in its net profit at Rs 193 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 247 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 15.13% at Rs 10,369 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 12,217 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.</p><p align="justify">On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 23.94% in its net profit attributable to equity holders&nbsp;at Rs 1,061 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,395 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 11.91% at Rs 29,494 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 33,483 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.<br></p><p align="justify"></p><p align="justify"><br></p>
13-Feb-2020 Hindalco Industries gains despite reporting 24% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit <p align="justify">Hindalco Industries is currently trading at Rs. 195.40, up by 1.60 points or 0.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 193.80 on the BSE.<br></p><p align="justify">The scrip opened at Rs. 194.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 196.35 and Rs. 192.50 respectively. Pursuant to Regulation 30 of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we inform that the Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC) of the Company has granted 3,26,945 Stock Options consisting of 2,64,704 Options and 62,241 RSU on 27th December, 2018 to Managing Director of the Company under Hindalco Industries Ltd Employee Stock Option Scheme 2018 "the Scheme".
24-Dec-2019 Hindalco Industries resumes production of Alumina at Muri refinery <p align="justify">Hindalco Industries has re-started production of Alumina at Muri refinery in Jharkhand. The Plant had initiated the start-up process after receiving the Consent to Operate from the Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board (JSPCB). Going forward, the Company may not need to import Alumina.<br></p><p align="justify">Earlier, the company had suspended operations of the Alumina Plant of the Company situated at Muri, due to spillage in the red mud cake storage area. <br></p><p align="justify">Hindalco Industries is an industry leader in aluminium and copper.
