23-Jul-2020 Vodafone Idea completes postpaid consolidation exercise <p align="justify">Vodafone Idea has completed its postpaid consolidation exercise, by bringing all Idea postpaid subscribers under a single umbrella of 'Vodafone RED'. All Vodafone Idea postpaid subscribers can now avail benefits of the Vodafone RED plan, a uniform customer service, and an enhanced digital experience. The consolidation is a significant step towards its synergy realisations and has led to process standardisation for both the retail and enterprise customers. </p><p align="justify">It will enable the company to provide a uniform customer experience through self-service channels with enriched menu options on IVR (interactive voice response)...MyVodafone App and websites for availing products, services and making payments. This means that erstwhile Idea postpaid customers no longer need to go through a separate onboarding and service experience. 23-Jul-2020 Infosys, Coal India and Vodafone Idea to see some action today <p align="justify"><strong>Infosys</strong> has formed a consortium with pymetrics, Merit America, Per Scholas, Revature, and Woz Enterprise that will leverage its Wingspan solution to create a free online platform, connecting employees and employers, and provide training for job seekers. The consortium will leverage Infosys Wingspan and pymetrics' AI-based talent-matching platform to meet reskilling and employment needs raised by the COVID-19 crisis in America.</p><p align="justify"><strong>Coal India</strong> (CIL) has gained over Rs 3,125 crore from supply of improved quality coal over committed grades and supply beyond annual contracted quantity (ACQ). An amount of around Rs 1,365 crore provisioned under coal quality variance in the earlier years has been withdrawn, in the last fiscal, which is the net gain to the company on whole. 21-Jul-2020 Jubilant Life Sciences, NHPC and Wipro to see some action today <p align="justify"><strong>Jubilant Life Sciences'</strong> subsidiary--Jubilant Generics has received approval from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) to manufacture and market the investigational antiviral drug remdesivir for 100 mg/vial (lyophilized injection) for restricted emergency use in India for the treatment of severe COVID-19. The company's remdesivir product will be marketed under the brand name ‘JUBI-R' in India and will be made available in 100 mg vials (injectable). It will distribute the drug in the Indian market through its distribution network and will be available by the first week of August 2020. </p><p align="justify"><strong>NHPC</strong> has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Green Energy Development Corporation of Odisha (GEDCOL). Parties may collaborate and cooperate to form a Joint Venture Company (JVC) to plan &amp; develop techno-commercially feasible floating solar power projects of 500 MW in the state of Odisha under UMREPPs Scheme of MNRE, in a phased manner, preferably in packages of 50 MW each. The parties also agree to explore further potential of installing floating solar projects after joint identification in subsequent periods in Odisha State.</p><p align="justify"><strong>Wipro</strong> has entered into a partnership with ComplianceQuest to develop transformative quality management solutions for the medical devices and life sciences industries. 20-Jul-2020 Vodafone Idea pays additional Rs 1,000 crore to DoT <p align="justify">Vodafone Idea has paid an additional Rs 1,000 crore to the Department of Telecom (DoT) towards the Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) dues. The fresh payment comes at a time when the Supreme Court is slated to hear the AGR matter on July 20. The company had earlier deposited Rs 6,854 crore in 3 tranches.
