13-Apr-2021 Adani Green Energy's arm commissions 50 MW Solar Power Plant in Uttar Pradesh <p align="justify">Adani Solar Energy Chitrakoot One (ASECOL), a subsidiary of Adani Green Energy (AGEL), has commissioned 50 MW Solar Power Plant in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh. The plant has a 25 Years Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (UPPCL) at Rs 3.07/kwh.<p align="justify">This commissioning takes AGEL's total operational renewable capacity to 3,520 MW, a step closer to its vision of 25 GW capacity by 2025. With the successful commissioning of this plant, AGEL has an operational solar generation capacity of over 3 GW. AGEL has total renewable capacity of 15,240 MW including 11,720 MW that have been awarded and are at different stages of implementation. With this 50 MW, AGEL marks the beginning of this year's commissioning plan with full commitment from its team, amidst continuing challenges of the COVID19 outbreak. <p align="justify">Adani Green Energy builds, owns and operates power plants powered by renewable sources of energy like solar and wind.</p>
13-Apr-2021 Adani Green Energy gains as its arm commissions 50 MW solar power plant in UP <p align="justify">Adani Green Energy is currently trading at Rs. 1093.50, up by 7.70 points or 0.71% from its previous closing of Rs. 1085.80 on the BSE.<p align="justify">The scrip opened at Rs. 1040.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1105.10 and Rs. 1034.15 respectively. 24-Mar-2021 Adani Green Energy inks pact to acquire 74.94 MW solar projects from Sterling & Wilson <p align="justify">Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has signed a share purchase agreement for the acquisition of 100% stake in two SPVs holding 74.94 MW operating solar projects of Sterling &amp; Wilson, a Shapoorji Pallonji group company. The projects, commissioned in 2017, are located in Medak District of Telangana and have long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) with the Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana.</p><p align="justify">The enterprise valuation of the target SPV is Rs 446 crore. With this acquisition, AGEL will increase its operating renewable capacity to 3,470 MW with a total renewable portfolio of 15,240 MW.
