Vodafone Idea has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2020.

The company has reported net loss of Rs 11948.80 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 4926.50 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 0.48% at Rs 11833.90 crore for Q4FY20 as compared Rs 11890.90 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss of Rs 11643.50 crore for the quarter under review as against net loss of Rs 4881.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 0.09% at Rs 11920.40 crore for Q4FY20 as compared Rs 11931.60 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2020, the company has reported net loss of Rs 73131.50 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 14055.30 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 20.74% at Rs 45801.10 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 37934.20 crore for year ended March 31, 2019.

For the year ended March 31, 2020, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss of Rs 73878.10 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 14603.90 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 21.61% at Rs 45996.80 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 37823.60 crore for year ended March 31, 2019.

TPG is planning to invest Rs 4,546.80 crore in Jio Platforms, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries, at an equity value of Rs 4.91 lakh crore and an enterprise value of Rs 5.16 lakh crore. The investment will translate into a 0.93% equity stake in Jio Platforms on a fully diluted basis for TPG. With this investment, Jio Platforms has raised Rs 102,432.45 crore from leading global technology investors including Facebook, Silver Lake, Vista Equity Partners, General Atlantic, KKR, Mubadala, ADIA, and TPG since April 22, 2020.

Tata Motors is buying out its partner Jayem Automotives in their joint venture JT Special Vehicles that develops high-performance vehicles. The company has inked a pact to acquire 50 percent stake of Jayem Automotives in JT Special Vehicles (JTSV). GMR Infrastructure’s step down subsidiary -- GMR Visakhapatnam International Airport (GVIAL) has signed the Concession Agreement for the development and operations of Greenfield international airport at Bhogapuram in Andhra Pradesh with the Government of Andhra Pradesh. In April 2020, GMR Airports (GAL) had received the Letter of Award for implementation of project on a PPP basis. The project involves design, build, finance, construction, development, operation and maintenance of Greenfield International Airport at Bhogapuram for the period of 40 years, extendable by additional 20 years through international competitive bidding process, with GMR airports limited having RoFR of 10%.

Dr. Reddy's Laboratories has entered into a non-exclusive licensing agreement with Gilead Sciences, Inc. (Gilead) that will grant Dr. Reddy’s the right to register, manufacture and sell Gilead’s investigational drug, Remdesivir, a potential treatment for Covid-19, in 127 countries including India. The company will receive technology transfer from Gilead for manufacturing of this drug.
