25-Oct-2021   15:52 Hrs IST Asian markets end mixed note on Monday <p align="justify">Asian markets ended mixed on Monday after US Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said the central bank Fed was on track to start tapering its stimulus, and added that he expected inflation could last until well into next year. Japanese shares declined ahead of this week's general election, while the yen strengthened. Hong Kong shares ended on a flat note after news of trials of a property tax in China. Seoul shares ended higher amid expectations of strong third-quarter corporate earnings. 25-Oct-2021   11:00 Hrs IST Asian Markets trade mostly higher in early deals on Monday <div align="justify"><span>Most of the Asian equity benchmarks traded higher in early deals on Monday, recouping some earlier sessional losses as investors awaited for corporate earnings. Meanwhile, inflation risks and China's looming earning's report capped some gains. Banking sector stocks are in green, while technological stocks were mixed in the session. Oil stocks are advancing, with the gains in crude oil overnight. Japan's Nikkei is in red with the receding concerns over economic health amid covid infections, and on woes ahead to the looming general elections. China's Shanghai got buoyed in the session led by environmental protection stocks on China's measures to achieve carbon neutrality, while property firms fell. Among the Asian stocks, Hong Kong, South Korea, Indonesia, China, Taiwan and, Malaysia are trading in green. Bucking the trend, Japan, and Singapore are in negative territory.</span></div><font face="sans-serif"><span><div align="justify"><br></div></span></font><div align="justify"><font face="sans-serif"><span>Hang Seng widened by 23.31 points or 0.09% to 26,150.24, KOSPI enlarged by 10.37 points or 0.36% to 3,016.53, Jakarta Composite is lifted by 12.08 points or 0.18% to 6,655.82, Taiwan Weighted up by 17.31 points or 0.10% to 16,906.05, FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI enlarged by 2.48 points or 0.16% to 1,590.56 and Shanghai Composite climbed by 13.46 points or 0.38% to 3,596.06.</span></font></div><font face="sans-serif"><span><div align="justify"><br></div></span></font><div align="justify"><font face="sans-serif"><span>On the flip side, Nikkei 225 down by 264.07 points or 0.92% to 28,540.78, Straight times narrowed by 3.39 points or 0.11% to 3,201.75.</span></font></div><div align="justify"><br></div>
