Quantum Mutual Fund has made Quantum Liquid Fund available for transaction through the mutual fund trading platform on the two bourses namely Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) with effect from February 8, 2010.

The primary investment objective of the scheme is to provide optimal returns with moderate levels of risk & high liquidity through judicious investments in money market and debt instruments.

Quantum Mutual Fund launched Quantum Equity Fund of Funds - Open ended equity fund of funds scheme. The new fund offer (NFO) is open for subscription from June 26, 2009 to July 13, 2009. The scheme will reopen on July 22, 2009. The benchmark to evaluate the performance of the Scheme shall be the BSE 200.

The scheme offers two plans – growth plan and dividend plan. No entry load applicable is applicable for the scheme while an exit load of 1.5% will be charged, if investment redeemed/switched/repurchased within 1 year.

The NFO price for the fund is Rs.10 per unit. The minimum application amount is Rs.5000 and in multiples of Re.1 thereafter. The minimum additional amount is Rs 1,000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter. The minimum redemption amount is Rs 1,000.

The asset allocation under Quantum Equity Fund of Funds will be 90-100% and it will be invested in open-ended diversified equity schemes of mutual funds registered with SEBI and 0-10% will be allocated towards money market instruments.

The investment objective of the scheme is to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in a portfolio of open-ended diversified equity schemes of mutual funds registered with SEBI.

Quantum Mutual Fund has announced appointment of new fund manager -- Chirag Mehta -- for Quantum Gold Fund. The change was incorporated with effect from May 1, 2009.

Chirag Mehta has replaced Mr.Arvind Chari.
