SBI Mutual Fund will launch the New Fund Offer (NFO) -- SBI Debt Fund Series- 180 Days- 9 -- a close-ended debt scheme.

The NFO will open for subscription on March 15, 2010 and close on March 18, 2010. No entry and exit load is applicable. 

The minimum investment in the scheme will be Rs 5000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter.

The investment objective of the scheme is to provide regular income, liquidity and returns to the investors through investments in a portfolio comprising debt instruments such as government securities, PSU and corporate bonds and money market Instruments maturing on or before the maturity of the scheme.

As on March 9, 2010, the net asset value of the scheme stood at Rs 19.04 per unit.

The objective of the scheme is to generate opportunities for growth along with possibility of consistent returns by investing predominantly in a portfolio of stocks of companies engaged in the commodity business within the following sectors -- oil & gas, metals, materials and agriculture and in debt and money market instruments.

As on March 8, 2010, the net asset value of the scheme stood at Rs 32.68 per unit.

The investment objective of the scheme is to provide the investors maximum growth opportunity through well researched investments in Indian equities, PCDs and FCDs from selected industries with high growth potential and bonds.

SBI Mutual Fund has announced a change in the exit load under SBI One India Fund with effect from January 15, 2010. The fund house has converted the scheme as open-ended fund from a close-ended fund earlier.

As per the revised provision, no entry load is applicable. Further, an exit load of 1% is applicable if units are redeemed within one year, nil thereafter.

The investment objective of the scheme is to provide investors with opportunities for long-term growth in capital through active management of investment in a diversified basket of equity stocks focusing on all four regions of India and in debt and money market instruments.

Under SBI Debt Fund Series 13 Months 10 (retail and institutional) dividend declared is Re 0.1467 or 1.467% per unit on the face value of Rs 10 each.
